About me

Welcome! I am Shengtai Yao (姚圣泰), a first year Ph.D. student in the department of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. Previously, I obtained my Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to this, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Elite program) from Tsinghua University.

Research Interest

Broadly speaking, I’m interested in Optimization and Machine Learning Theory.
